We should all trust meeping S&P why?

I, for one, do NOT trust S&P, but they've done what what they did, and that, is interesting.

This is the most rational thing that has happened since this entire Debt Crisis 2011 bullmeep began. Our government has proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that it is full of a bunch of irrational retards who think that playing games with a fragile global economy is no big deal.

Playing games with politics that expose the entire world to financial risk is literally insane. What this current pack of retarded legislators need is a good old fashioned public lynching to remind them that their politics had either serve the will of the people or stay in their meeping closets.

I am sick and tired of hearing the non-stop bickering out of this pathetic excuse of a government. They're worse than a couple of selfish 3 year olds fighting over every toy in the sandbox. I am embarrassed that our political system has become a meeping cartoon of itself and doesn't even care that the entire world thinks the leaders of this country are a bunch of insane, irrational morons and that they represent an accurate cross section of the rest of America. They seem to be only inches away from deteriorating into childish slap-fights, flat out cry-baby fits and meeping snot-slinging, tiny-fist thrashing temper tantrums. I wish they would all drop dead of some strange illness and spare the rest of us further embarrassment.

I can't wait for machines to take over this planet. They might be evil but at least they'll be meeping rational.

This from a ratings agency that rated trillions of dollar in derivatives as AAA even though they were complete "junk"... and was entirely complicit and exceptionally responsible for the economic crisis because of their bullmeep bank paid ratings.

It will be interesting to see what this will do to interest rates. If I were in an open variable mortgage I'd be thinking about locking it in soon.

S&P is a for profit company (I used to work for them). The CEO is a hard right wacko, and formerly one of Bush's inner circle of advisors and corporatist elites. (Terry McGraw) The rating change has no impact on S&P's bottom line, but huge political impact. To think politics didn't play a role in that announcement would be pretty naive.
