After our Son's wedding, which was just beautiful, and a meepin' ceremony, the Happy Couple and entourage all went out to a local seafood joint. Nobody treated them rudely, nor the child, nor the family (brother, sister, and their spouses, plus Rosie & I), nor their guests, who were Flamers. maybe it's just California, but I can't imagine that kind of meep. It's like the "Easy Rider" cafe scene. Awful.




The staff treated us like gold, and nobody in there said boo...nothing but smiles, and happys for all, even the grandcritter.

As far as the people in that restaurant, it's a tough call whether the majority disapproved the the couple, or just didn't want to get involved.
Public apathy is the most significant reason for the silent majority, I suspect.
The 'Me Generation' has a few aspects.

As far as gays/lesbians etc. : If i'm not sleepin' with 'em it's not an issue.
I'm more interested in a brain than genitalia. meep is fun to participate in, or
