You know... some people wear shirts to be ironic, funny, sarcastic, satirist, etc etc. But if any girl under 18 wears "Porn Star".... wtf does that mean? Htf are you supposed to take that? The only thing I can think of is "that girl must be into pedophiles". If she's mature enough to know what it is, she's mature enough not to wear it at that age. Not only that, but kids, especially girls, think they can do whatever the meep they want without consequences. Parents and guardians are so overprotective and treat them like royalty. They deserve the belt when necessary. God forbid they should realize they let their little angel turn into a meep. Or a rapist.

I just had a discussion with my youngest(girl) a couple of days ago about all the alarmist meep in the news about muslims, oil prices, the economy, world-wide riots, union-breaking, wars, etc. And all the fear-mongering going on is doing nothing but fanning the flames.
She tells me she doesn't feel safe.
I don't know how to explain that no one is ever totally safe.

There's no reason why someone couldn't just tap on my front door right now, put a couple of slugs in my head, rape my daughter and then cut her throat when they're done (or the screaming gets too annoying.)
I just know that odds are against it happening.
I have a gun just in case, but I don't expect to ever have to use it.

I'm probably wrong for not being scared of the world, but there's only degrees of safety. You'd lose your mind if you had to watch every move of the people around you, thinking any or all of them meant you harm.
Just to maintain your sanity, you have to draw a line in the sand and say: "This is as many precautions as I'm gonna take. Anything more is gonna make life not worth living."

Dude, don't tell her she can't be totally safe. She's gotta figure that out for herself. If you tell her, she'll just believe you, but not understand it, and it will make her (more) anxious. If you lie to her, one day she'll figure out it's a lie, but odds are that by the time she has the faculties necessary to do that, she'll also have the faculties necessary to take care of herself.
