i'll never put my kid in daycare. true story: my mother had this friend, and she sent all her kids to daycare. her 4 year old kept getting this rash that wouldn't go away. she took the little girl in to get assessed and she had chlamydia. she got it from some guy who worked at the daycare.

They are a lot more controlled and regulated here. You have to get police clearance to work in them, and that meep is taken very seriously. I think the manager at least has to have early learning qualifications, along with there having to be X number of staff for Y number of kids, at a fairly small ratio (1 to 10 or so). Problems like this are extremely rare here.
