Newt Gingrich 'very serious' about running for president in 2012

He's been quite serious about it for a while. It doesn't change the fact that his chances are nil. He's not particularly well-liked, and he's positioned himself to far to the right to contend with Obama, especially if the economy gets even remotely moving.

Even most of the righties hate this meepo. I remember my neighbor used to call him 'Satan' back in the 80's and he was an 85 year old, German born Aryan who was in love with Ronald Reagan and the Michigan Militia.

Newt Gingrich doesn't have a snowballs chance in meep of running on the Republican ticket. They're going to present some young 'compassionate conservative' again. Don't forget that Rove will be at the helm in 2012 and the Republicans will follow his game plan like drones in an attempt to rekindle the Bush years. Mark my words, meepas.

Hardly. I've never been able to understand the righty mentality. The continuous fear that their guns will be taken away is so meeping ridiculous that it's almost cartoonish. The inability to rationalize their way into reality is mind boggling to me. I could also never understand the constant fear. It's as if they are addicted to being afraid and one of their favorite pastimes is sitting around, blarging out right wing propaganda in an effort to see who can out-fear the next halfwit.

I'm a pretty conservative guy for a liberal. I'd say that I'm just left of center but, in my experience, most right wingers want to get as far right as possible and everything else scares them to death.

And for the record, this 'Tea Party' bullmeep is nothing but a reissued Michigan Militia type movement. It's full of the same narrow minded lunatics with the same lack of ability to grasp a rational thought. There's just less guns involved.

Out of that lot I'd bet on Gingrich.

Also Christie, Rubio, Ron Paul, Jindal & Pawlenty. Also there are a few other figures out there that could make things interesting, there were rumors about Bloomberg recently and I think he would make a strong candidate. Romney leads the current Republican primary polls, right next to Huckabee.
