WI-R US Senate Candidate Snaps Into Droidlican Mode

Dude has meeping Bell's Palsy. I hope he wins so he can outsource his plastics jobs overseas, and avoid paying decent wages and taxes. Besides, HE'S NOT A CAREER POLITICIAN, HE KNOWS HOW TO CREATE JOBS.

It is a gotcha moment, because nobody has challenged this candidate's positions to date. It is hard to believe that in a liberal bastion like Wisconsin (Mad + Mil) that Feingold is behind. He is progressive as they come. Johnson on the other hand is a tea party clone representing the Pubes this cycle.

The guy is the nominee from one of the two major parties for US Senate and he can't answer the question (even if it's a robo-bullmeep one) about how he's going to 'create' jobs during a recession? Are you kidding me?? How do you get stuck on that one?? Doesn't any person who is nominated to run for Congress receive some sort of 'prepping' by campaign advisers on the public policy subjects of which he or she is weak? The advisers must have gone over the 'jobs' question since it's THE topic of political conversation for this election. If not, wouldn't that be a subject he's been asked about several times by now (by media/voters/whoever) and established some sort of cohesive response since it's TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE ELECTION.

Every politician has a strength and weakness on a public policy topic (e.g. John McCain - strength: military, weakness: economy), so either it's a failure of the campaign advisers to prep him, or he has never personally understood the economics subject and thought he could get away with saying 'lower taxes, lower spending, balance the budget' since that's the robo-bullmeep being fed this election.

-- Actually, thinking about what I just wrote, it's not only the candidate's/campaign advisers' failure, it's the failure of the media to call politicians left or right out when they don't know what they're talking about. It's sad when semi-comedians (Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert) on a comedy channel are some of the only few from the media who expose these people for the liars, crooks, and hypocrites that they are. It's amusing, again, for it to take TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE ELECTION for someone in the media to stick one's neck out, ask a tough question, and not let that politician off the hook when he or she gives some robo-bullmeep, vague, idealist, non-answer to the question. The lady from the Green Bay Press-Gazette deserves a raise, promotion, or whatever to move her up the ladder because she's being a journalist, not some push-over.

And apparently the Green Bay Press-Gazette has never endorsed Feingold before since it is known in Wisconsin as a conservative paper.
