It's not Bible-belt Southerners who scored highest - they came at the bottom.

I am not surprised that idiot so called bible thumpers scored low, they should read it more that use it as a fear tool.

I agree, I think those of us who are atheist took the time to think things over, and maybe do a little research before making a decision to not believe, whereas a lot of religeous people beleive what they are told without question, and never question what they are told.

I have been trying to find the exact test that was given which only 8 of 32 people passed... Can anyone find it for me?

I am interested to see the questions because I could see a way in which religious people do not test well when asked about other religions. But the reasoning for the wider knowledge base of agnostics and atheists makes sense... because they searched. I am religious but studied other religions, however I know people (especially evangelicals) who can only tell you about their religion and won't even read about any other religion (just blindly hate & denounce it)

i feel validated in my beliefs having scored 32 of 32.... though asking who Johnathan Edwards was is going to confuse alot of people without history degrees

I got 30 and the better half got 26 ( Dismas helped with one). It seems that Aussies are even smarter than the average Yank, not that I will find any of them here. And neither of us have more than a high-school education, but neither of us are Christians anymore, either
