Nope. They won't go for it. Remember the Susie B dollar? Personally I like the Loonie and twonie coins up here. Pocket-pooling for change and coming up with $20 in change is the cats meep. I think they should return to making all denominations coins.

Well, of course they won't go for it. Where's all the security stuff? The legal stuff? The must-have symbols? Plus the decades-long working groups and committess to ensure all points of view have been mushed into one big grey blodgy meaningless-looking dreck of a currency... much like the Euro.
It's pretty as meep, though. I'd love a vertical, color-coded currency.

Didn't Washington or Jefferson or one of those FF's keep Barack Obama as a pet or something? Seriously though, our currency could use a good redesigning and I like the color/size/vertical format idea.
@Pete56: We've still got all denominations of coinage, but for some reason you don't find them in circulation to often.
