Who did they contact at Dell? Tech support? I doubt Dell said 24 hours. It takes 24 hours to figure out just who exactly you have to call and e-mail to check out if this guy even works for you. Then you find out he does you have to go ask your boss what to do (and he asks his boss and so on) and then it either comes back to you or you are told someone else is handling it (which is the same as saying it is above your pay grade. And oh yeah, THEY ARE ONLY THREE HOURS LATE!!! It hasn't been weeks meep

It is surprising you don't hear about this more with the amount of outsourcing that goes on where your giving people in some far flung far off land you know access to all your information

This is probably because Indians you talk to on support are usually well educated. I have been told they make what would be a low hourly wage in America. But the per capita income in India is 47740.50 rupees per year. They make the equivalent of $3 US dollars per hours that is 139 rupees. So in about 1,200 hours they make the 'average' income. Assuming they work 50 hour weeks (it is India). In six weeks they reach per-capita level. Let's say they only work 48 weeks a year (i know they always work!!) That means they make 8 times the average income.

Basically I am saying these tech support Indians are making bank by India's standard and probably wouldn't kill their job for some porn pictures of a busted 48-year-old who isn't famous.
