Offshore Corporate Tax Havens: Why Are They Still Allowed?
According to the White House, in 2004, the last year data on this was compiled, U.S. multinational corporations paid roughly $16 billion in taxes on $700 billion in foreign active earnings -- putting their tax rate at around 2.3 percent.

hey loki, can you actually come up with a reason not to regulate business other than that regulating business is bad?

Yes I can mofo, and I did--implicitly-- just above; but in light of the existence of the serviceable institution of criminal law, I defy you to come up with a reason that regulating business is necessary, let alone good.

What I don't like from the nocal and those of his ilk is this sort of, 'I'll put my boot heel on the throat of Loki LLC,' I think that sounds really un-American in his criticism of business. I think it's part of this sort of blame-game society in the sense that it's always got to be someone's fault instead of the fact that sometimes accidents happen. i mean its not like we charge common people with manslaughter when they accidently kill someone.
by the way nocal, how man jobs did you create last year. maybe when you create a few more jobs you'll have the right to pay $0 in taxes too.

Well, hindsight is 20/20 . . .
Entirely irrelevant, considering both that pedophilia is not the subject of regulatory law, but rather criminal law; and the fact that I have already stipulated the validity of criminal law.
But I suppose you feel you have made some point anyway.

for instance: polluting the ocean in search of profit while having no contingency plan in case of accidents, a whale (or marine animal/mammal of your choice) can physically rape (to completion) any oil executive who currently works for BP or transocean.
or, for allowing the poisoning workers at foxconn, dell, hp, and apple executives must share a world famous 'triple kiss' on a featured episode of 'the real world: libertopia'

If you weren't such a retard, you'd know that dumping filth on someone else's property is illegal on criminal basis; that poisoning people on purpose, or through negligence, for the pursuit of profits or other motives is a criminal act.
If you weren't an intellectually and morally disingenuous retard, you'd admit that the close (and mutually empowering, protective, and profitable) relationship between legislators and the businesses their legislation regulates, is the primary barrier between the criminals involved and the event that they should bear the burden of any responsibly for their criminal activity; and it is precisely the same barrier that is between their victims--the legislators and the businesses their legislation regulates--and justice.
That may be so, but the legal wrangling will be entirely about authoritarians like yourself attempting to maintain a privileged status with regard to the use of force and/or fraud as a valid means to meet your bullmeep ends.
