The patience and precision it would take to hand cut this meep with a backsaw and have it fit that well is certainly meep inducing. Spankie can't even comment on this thread because at the moment he's busy shucking his cob and curling his toes with bliss.

I want this down the center of a diy stratocaster body. I'll design it and do up the prints if you're bad assed enough to make that meep.

It's doable, but you could easily fake it with a shallow inlay.
