You don't have to be a purist to hate meeping kenny g. Hating kenny g is one of the first and easiest lessons in jazz. The worst thing is that he is the identified player of the soprano sax now-anyone who hears one thinks 'kenny g' which is a crying shame because it can be a lovely instrument. The fact that the mothermeeper hasn't taken the time to improve over the years.

Jazz comes across as the average ego wanker's misguided idea of music with lots of scales and theory jammed into their mellons but not a whole lot of creativity and artistic gifts they didn't have to practice for most of their lives to painstakingly display ONE meepING TIME.
Jazz is dead because nobody really cares about cyborg music and the many junkies that puked it, while trying to convince the dude in the fedora at the back of the smoky room that this latest 75 note scale was the official birth of something new and great.
