He is a good cartoonist. I'll grant you that, but the guy has spent decades using his work to essentially terrorize young folks into following his religious dogma.
He was very good at what he did and that's praiseworthy, but the point of his work was to manipulate people into being the kind of close-minded, bible-quoting, mouth breathers that are just a mild misunderstanding away from killing you and your children in order to save your souls.

I got a Chick tract thrust into my hands in the Netherlands. It was in Dutch, but you could discern the story. A soccer star rises to the top, gets drunk, meeped-up and laid every day, dies suddenly and goes to meep for all eternity.
