Whadaya talking about?
I know plenty of people who make their entire living from any single one of those occupations, save for deck repair...but even at that, I know plenty of guys who make a good living as roofers, framers, and carpenters.
Those skills aren't going anywhere anytime soon, except perhaps welding. It is a rare and skillful human that can weld as precisely and consistently as a machine. Even so, machines are only good for repetitive, mass-production welding tasks...custom welding will probably still be in demand 100 years from now.
