This was actually cool...remember similar comics as a kid; they really pushed that whole 'radium is GOOD for you' bit. My Dad would give us jars of radium paint to play in the closet with, painting glow in the dark skeletons on each other. Then we'd come outside and dry in the sunlight, unprotected be 'sunscreen' or even tree shade, and play with puddles of mercury. The dentist would always give us some to play with while we waited for our check-ups. If you slipped into your meepon-up meep pocket along with the free candy you got for being good, you could stand on all fours and roll most of it onto the hardwood floor (along with your unwrapped sucker) and scoop it into on of Mom's half empty seconal bottles. Ah, those were good times, no meep. Hardly half as dangerous as now. We never got meepin' hurt. Much. Nobody was autistic, or ADD, or any of that meep. You paid attention, or something would take you out. Good system. Shoulda kept it.
