This is Highland Park, MI. It was once an affluent white suburb but was abandoned by the whites that founded and built it in the decade after the Detroit riots. You don't live there unless you have some serious problems. Nobody would raise a kid there unless they were meeped in the head. The crack heads and dealers that inhabit this meephole have been slowly razing it for 40+ years because the local government doesn't have the meep to wipe this particular slate clean and start from scratch. If you ever find yourself lost and in Highland Park, the first thing you will notice that it is 100% black. The second thing that you will notice is that you are being shot at, carjacked, raped or mugged - or all three at once.

Tried finding a video of River Rouge, MI, which is arguably worse than (or, at the very least, the same as) Highland Park.
