The GOP Feeds On Its Own Disfunction

I love when conservatives cry that with liberal politicians in office your taxes will go up. What they fail to admit is that when they're in office they often times lower taxes to an unsustainable level without the corresponding cut in services, forcing the liberals when they take over in office afterwards to eventually (surprise, surprise!) raise taxes. Then the conservatives use that to rail about how government is out of hand, your taxes always go up with liberals, blah blah blah, and the cycle continues. It is the ultimate conservative ploy, however I do believe the conservatives' overall message (although they may not necessarily employ it when in office) about lower taxes and government efficiency is the right message and that there should be oversight in the way government operates and its spending habits. My point is that liberals are not always 'right', but the conservatives recently seem relatively 'less right' in recent years.
