I always wonder if people respond to these stories with 'oh no fascism!' in a ironic way or in a serious way.

It could honestly go both ways.

Would that be because countries that don't have a Posse Comitatus Act usually experience ' trouble', or because American members of the federal uniformed services are inherently unfit to conduct state law enforcement?

I would prefer it if state/local police that are there to do the job and have been trained to do the job did the job. Putting armed american combat soldiers on the streets of this country and dumping the job of law enforcement against american citizens on them is wrong and sure to lead to evil things.

I call bullmeep. We need to strictly enforce selective inbreeding programs, a sort of negative eugenics program if you will, to make the general population stupid and docile. I forsee a brave new world here.
