Justed checked with the family Psychiatrist and my insurance... Provigil/Modanifil is covered for treating ADHD if stimulants don't work (they make me jittery as meep).

about three years ago, i read about this meep and became very curious. i tried piracetam, and it seemed to work a little (placebo?), but i honestly felt a strange burning sensation in my brain when i had a few drinks, which may have also been placebo effect, but it scared me into thinking i was doing more damage than normal to what is surely looking a bit like swiss cheese...

i used to work for a neurologist and had unlimited access to this in the form of samples from drug reps. it was never handed out to patients but was somehow always gone by the time the rep came back around a month later. i dont have much else to offer about it that the story didnt cover, aside from the fact that if you take too much of it you're rewarded with cheap wine-oatmeal meeps, and it's a decent hangover cure.

I tried it for about 4 months early last year. Anyway, this meep really worked well. It is probably the second best meep apart from straight up amphetamines for treatment of ADD. It really helps you stay focused on the task at hand.
The author of this article may be exaggerating its effects a bit though.
I stopped taking it because it was almost $10 a 200mg tablet and my meepty insurance didn't cover it.
