Of course kids would hate these meepty games. I always hated Donkey Kong and Space Invaders. What about the old classics like Galaga, Gyruss, Pac Man, Centipede and TAPPER! Tapper kicks meep!

I don't remember Frenzy, but I remember spending hours perfecting the art of letting the enemy bullets pass through the Berzerkeroid's neck-slot. I was also obsessed with some game with a name like 2784 or something with one of those spinny circle-shaped control sticks where you just shot a bunch of attacking things. Plus Sinistar. Sinistar still rocks. Every couple months I trawl eBay for a Sinistar upright and sigh at the prices.

Sinistar is still cool. A few years back Williams released a whole bunch of their classics on one cd for play station. It had Defender, Sinistar, Robotron, Stargate Defender, Joust. Serious meeping good times!
