Blue-eyed People Are Inbred Mutants

nurglets and blondes are being fazed out by natural selection

nocal theory for blonde hair as well as for blue eyes is a biological adaptation favoring reproduction. that is to say, all things being equal, the blonde would have stood out, making that person more likely to be chosen for reproduction

^ Blondes are preferred breeding grounds but their hair color genetic meep is not dominant so - brown and black haired dudes gene-trump their trophy wives blonde genes and make brown haired mutant children.

The result; real blondes are getting harder to find and becoming much more valuable trophies.

^ I guess tht would make me a trophy...interesting concept

ThemeepisBlonde and from my perspective most men do not prefer blondes. My ex had brown hair and my kids are both blonde one with blue eyes and the other with green ones that sometimes change to blue. Most blondes you see are from a box. There is only one way to tell if they are a true blonde.

My eyes are mostly blue but greenish. That makes my eye color geneticly recessive. My first wife had brown eyes. Our son has brown eyes. My wife of wives has sky-blue eyes, our son has the exact same eyes. My long lost but recently found daughter has brown eyes, just like her mother.

All three of the women that have bore wotak seed, have had dominant eye color genes. Therefore, all of my kids have their mothers eyes.

I have brown hair. (had) My daughter had brown hair. Her mothers hair was auburn red. My oldest sons mom had brown hair. He has slightly red hair (like my Dad). My youngest son has brown/blonde hair, his mothers hair is brown.

When it comes to hair-color genetics it seems kind of random and I don't quite understand it. But with eye color, it makes sense.

The lesson here is that I am an unforgivable meep.

Yeah, but with eyes I can understand the number of dominant genes. BLUE BROWN GREEN.

How many dominant hair color genes are there? Two? Black and Blonde? I don't get that whole thing. Three? Black, blonde and red? Is brown the meep child?

How do to brown haired peoples make a blonde haired monkeypigeon?

'...and thus the women children are not the trophies their mothers were.

The result; real blondes are getting harder to find and becoming much more valuable trophies.

Dude, invest in blonde.'

I am compelled to explain why this is wrong.

First, rarity does not equate with value.

Second, imagine a situation where every person has two alleles for the hair color gene, and each allele can be Brown or blonde, B or b. B is dominant, b is recessive, so a child inheriting Bb from its parents will express brown hair as its phenotype. Furthermore, at a given point in time, 50% of the alleles in the gene pool of a population are B and 50% are b. So not half and half blondes and browns, right? but half and half genes. If the population size is statistically significant, we can expect one quarter to have BB, one quarter to have Bb, one quarter to have bB, and one quarter to have bb, with a reasonable degree of accuracy.

Now, suppose being blonde is an attractive meepual characteristic, and blondes successfully reproduce 50% of the time, although a blonde is no more likely to 'land' another blonde than a brunette is likely to 'land' a blonde. Brunettes, being less attractive, successfully reproduce 25% of the time, and with no preference for the hair color of the opposite meep. Since the mating, as I describe it, is random, we can imagine we killed half the blondes and three quarters of the brunettes prior to any individual reaching meepual maturity. I encourage you to contemplate how this scenario might be different if blondes mated preferentially with blondes and brunettes preferentially with brunettes. Be rigorous with your mathematical expression of 'preference'.

Here it may help you to understand the math if you set the population at a certain number, and compute the probabilities based on the population size. Pick 100. Pick 1000. The number won't matter in the end. Since 50% of the blondes reproduce and 25% of the brunettes, we say that 1/2 * 1/4 + 1/4 * 3/4 = 5/16 of the population successfully reproduces, and blondes make up 2/16 of this figure while brunettes make up the remaining 3/16. Now a brunette of this generation is expected to pass on a B gene 2/3 of the time (where did that 2/3 come from? see if you can figure it out!) while a blonde passes on a B gene never. Likewise, brunettes pass on b 1/3 of the time and blondes pass it on all the time.

So our final estimate of the genotypic make-up of the first generation of offspring is...3/5 * 2/3 + 0 * 2/5 = 2/5 of the genes are B, and 2/5 * 1 + 3/5 * 1/3 = 3/5 of the genes are b. So the number of blonde genes in the second generation increased. Now what is the phenotypic make-up, the important question? The likelihood of having two b genes is 9/25, or 36% are blonde, so 72% are brunettes.

So in conclusion, there are situations in which recessive alleles, though less expressive than dominant alleles, may be selected for and the proportion of the population expressing the double recessive trait may increase.

Pause for evolutionary psychology moment.

Men prefer blondes because blondes' hair dulls and gets darker with age before turning gray.

Youth = more eggs of higher quality. Blondes are supernatural releasers, exaggerated stimuli that produce a distorted response.

I release lots, and I am not blonde.

I know this may(will) sound trite-but its all evolution. It will be about 100,000 years until the consequence of this mutation is known.

Ah, I read the same article, I think. Something about the coloring being a more reliable indicator -- or a more deceptively self-serving indicator -- of age and thus fertility.
