I think that mothermeeper is gone stone batmeep crazy. It is amazing and appalling how he maintains his determination and optimism as he meeps up the constitution and the country. what blows my mind is that after watching the trials of Ken Lay, Bernie Ebbers, Dennis Kozlowski, etc. etc. the good folks of america somehow think it unreasonable that this power grab could exceed the boundries of the law...

The problem with our country is that we only treat the symptoms of the disease.

I.E. supplying Osama with weapons and money instead of dealing with the real problem at hand. Taking away the rights of American citizens to 'ensure our safety from terrorism' when all we need to be doing is hunting down bin Laden.

Time and time again, our country finds a way to simply treat a symptom of the main problem at hand and not the actual real problem, and it always ends up biting us in the meep.

I just hope this ordeal with taking away habeas corpus and now this meep doesn't meep us over in the long run, which I think it will.
