While it is a stupid law, the guy did violate it. He should spearhead a movement to get the law changed instead of pissing and moaning, hoping someone else will fix it.

'A Jefferson County geography teacher was placed on paid administrative on the second day of school for hanging several flags from other countries in his classroom.' So, he displayed flags from countries besides mexico and china?
'The school's principal escorted Hamlin out of class Wednesday morning after he refused to remove the flags of China and Mexico.' Why was he only asked to remove the flags from mexico and china?
'Hamlin, who teaches 7th grade, said he believes the national debate surrounding immigration and the Mexican flag has contributed to the controversy.' OK, I can kinda see the point about mexico but why china?
'He wonders if he would have caused such a stir if he had hung flags of Switzerland or Australia instead of Mexico.' Wait... now it sounds like he only hung the flags from mexico and china. Kinda hard to say who is right and who is wrong when they only report one side of the story and leave out so many relavant facts.
