Internet Providers To Abandon The Concept Of Network Neutrality

When are the US Government and business interests going to realize that they no longer own the internet ? Anything like this that they do directly impacts on non-US citizens and their governments, and is most likely illegal. Isn't there something in international law about interfering with the sovereignty of other nations ? Although we all know that GW doesn't pay any attention to international law, we can all hope that your congress has more of an idea, at least collectively, and will respect the rights of other countries and their citizens when the bill before them doesn't have Bush's warmongering fingerprints all over it.

What these companies want is to be able make Cash BOTH ways. They Want to make cash off of you AND the people/business you want to connect to.

when you log on to the internet, you DONT get to choose what search engine you use, what online store you shop at, or even what Link listing site you kill time on.

but you bet your meep when these telecoms start getting into these very same business/services they wanna black mail, youll get to see their versions just fine.

Instead of Internet Access... What your gonna get are Rebranded versions of AOL.

Or people will exercise the power of several million united citizens and boycott those industries that support it. They are corporations and money talks, as well as a lack of money.
