Paypal Goes Texting

I hate PayPal and I hated leveling up using PayPal and every time I use PayPal on Ebay I hate it.

They screwed me years ago by accusing me of fraud for no reason and I will never forgive them.

meep PayPal.

I find PayPal to be flawless. Of course, I'm not a fraudist.

I find PayPal indispensable, and consider a few annoyances worth having the first widely-used digital cash system.

But don't keep a large balance on your account there by any means.

Clone a phone,buy some meep!! YaY...

They've definitely cleaned up in the past 10 years. but giving them access to one of my real checking accounts? HEeEeEelLLLLl NOOO!

What happened with me was, I signed up and made a large payment to someone.. They approved my membership and all, took my money, then accused me of fraud and HALTED the transaction.

So not only did I not have my money, but he didn't either. It was in limbo, in their possession for 2 months. And they had zero customer support at that time.

The ony reason homey got his money is cuz he threatened to stop his 20K in business per week through them..

I have a friend who used to be an Ebay executive and now works for PayPal who has verified that back then, they essentially were understaffed, disorganized, and essentially a complete mess.

Yeah, but if they were to pull from that account without authorization you don't think the weight of the legal system would be poised to fall on them like a ton of bricks?

But then... maybe I'm misunderestimating the bureacracy of financial institutions.

I'm sure you are right.

On a macroscale, they would crumble if they didn't have good service and/or were consistently negligent.

On a microscale, though, when one single small fry has a problem/error/etc it can be a serious meep!

Anyway, not getting 'verified' or whatever doesn't affect my online world at all. I just buy meep through them with/as a visa check card..
