unfortunately only partially true, although still an interesting read. for instance, the 'placebo effect' was debunked through clinical trials some time ago (mid-80's, if I recall correctly). Still interesting, given the venue...

I understand that you brain actually produces all the chemicals it needs/uses, drugs just stimulate it to do so. The endorphins , serotonoins etc.. Apparently the anticipation of the placebo produces the same effect .

That RSS or also known as 'geek meep smell factory-feed' is updated all sorta crazy often. You can surely cook up some shizzile that takes the feed, pipes it to ol' wget and then follows the frist non-asslot link and the puts that link on some sorta exclusion list for submisions to be accepted.
