Get Firefox To Browse Faster Than IE!
My only disklike with firefox was it browsed slower than IE, found this and in a couple minutes now its actually faster than IE!

ohh trust me it realyl is alot faster with these config file changes, i didnt put this in earlier, but just put a file you make with the settings you want from the site into C:Domeepents and SettingsUser nameApplication DataMozillaFirefoxProfiles(varies)user.js you will hav e to make the file user.js (its just a text file with .js extension) most likely but trust me its worth it!

yeah, guess what i thought it was kinda dumb to do that at first but guess what?? i like firefox's functionality better than i ever liked IE's (there are tons of cool plugins and much more customizable) why dont you try it before you complain

Honestly, I'm not sure I've ever found Firefox to be faster than IE, which is slower in turn than Opera. I've tried most or all of the various speed tricks, too, though not in any real determined way.
If you guys want an easy way to edit Firefox's various little files, install the ChromeEdit extension. You won't have to dig through your filesystem manually anymore.

I've been using firefox for about a year now and I can't tell a difference in speed that everyone keeps blabbering about. Sounds like MS propaganda to me.
