I wouldnt be suprised though if over time a larger number of countries will want nothing to do with or buy from America, then when America starts getting poorer maybe it'l come up with some excuse to nuke somebody.

This is not a Liberal country - it never was, and never will be. The democrats marginalized themselves, and guaranteed a loss to Bush by latching on to sub - imbeciles like Michael Moore, Al Franken, Howard Dean, Soros, etc etc... yet it seems as if they still dont get it, and they wont be a relevant force in politics until they do.

I doubt the overall effectiveness (negative or positive) of extreme left-wingers like the ones you mention above in this election. Kerry simply did not have the personality to pull the task of defeating an inmeepbent off. He was not the best candidate to do that job, unfortunately. I still voted for him because I did not like the way Bush has taken the country in the last four years. I'll freely admit that as the campaign went on, it became more of a 'vote for him just because he's NOT Bush' thing than anything else.

The reality is that the left (whatever that means) has been a complete failure in mobilizing support for a president. Now one thing to take into account is that they have probably less then half of the funding that the GOP and its affilliated organs have in mobilizing voters, adds, etc. Democrats just seem to be uniquely suited to suck.

Kerry was hardly a liberal. By the end of the caimpaign he was supporting tax cuts and illegal international assassinations very much in line with bush. Maybe you think Soros is an idiot, and I woudn't agree, but its plain that neither he nor moore or franken are leaders. And we need a leader.

Yeah frankly I think we are and we do. fundamentalist terrorism is being directly exacerbated by GW's christian unilaterlism and if people can't read between the lines to figure out its negative, given over 4 years to think about it, they deserve to be further propogandized, bankrupted, and sent into the lines.
