more photo arts

As the title suggests, this is more of my arts. Personally I'm feeling more confident in what I'm outputting, which is somewhat odd as equipment wise I started (digitaly) with an entry level dslr, was ok, bought a professional grade dslr for a couple of grand, got a bit better, sold it and went backwards to an even older entry level dslr than the first one, got better, and now I'm using what is essentially a glorified point and shoot but feel like the stuff I've done is what I'm most comfortable with. The gear does not make the man it appears.

These are in no sort of chronological order.

These shots are from a trespassing in a local partially disused china clay and aggregates mining operation site where the main pit is being allowed to fill with water laden with minerals/metals and stuff causing it to be bright blue. making sure no blasting is going on and dodging aged workmen in jeeps was essential.

I'm planning on doing a lot more in other pits and mining areas as this stuff is the most interesting to me

gallery: self whoring to my flickr gallery for older stuff as well. I'm too cheap/broke to pay out for a 'pro' subscription so it only has 200 of my images up, so unless I ever get some spare money to upgrade or someone feels nice enough to gift it to me then it's only a reduced selection of my photos.

on a side note, @Vasudeva, how about that ability to go back and see stuff we put on the uploader but check the "do not show on this page" box?
