My new work/art

I made some art, please enjoy and have happy fun time. I've tried a slightly different approach to my previous work, trying to mimic what some would call a hipster aesthetic by use of composition, colour and subject.

pART two:

pART three:

and then a couple of regular things for me, but I can't (be bothered to) find the summer bugs thread:

@anothermonkeyenslaved

part 1 and 3 just the nearby area to the little village I live In the SW of the UK, part 2 in a small fishing port called mevagissey which is about 15 minutes down the road.

Very cool. Evidence of man with no man. Very pre-storm, "28 Days Later"-esque, menacing, forboding...

What camera did you use?

Nicely done, Nurglets.
Seriously, I nearly fapped.

Nice work. To inform my uninformed sef... could you quickly describe the hipster aesthetic? Thanks.

They are gorgeous, if i could take pictures like these, i'd have millions. Well done man, if i had a meep i'd fap to them all day haha.@nurglets @spankerchief

@LubeTheGoat

An old Olympus E-300, it's pretty ancient and basic, I hate it being as I was owned a pro camera for a while, but we got super short on cash so I had to sell it to make a couple of K for food+rent. It does prove the point that the gear used is not always the most important thing in the equation, i might even force myself to use a cheap point and shoot digicam and see how it goes.

@BigDinWaunakee

In this instance I guess it's the muted colours, formal and head on composition, the opposite end of the hipster spectrum to the holga/diana film camera users that eschew any compositional rules, love the mistakes and flaws from light leaks and snap away with out thinking. The Photo board I lurk around on is polarized to it, a lot hate the living meep out of it, while others love it. I'm sort of meh, it seems almost lazy and too easy.

Steel jewellery does not tarnish. There's also no should be worried about your jewellery discoloring moncler vests your pores and skin in contrast to the common jewellery designed of composite alloys. As moncler jakker pointed out earlier, metal jewellery can moncler vest last extended than any other jewellery and is also pretty durable. In instances of damages and main scratches, metal jewellery moncler dyne could be quickly repaired by merely polishing these damages without the need of additional damaging the relaxation moncler coats belonging in the direction of piece.

I really like that surfspot but it gets a little pixelated at 1920x1080. Would that be an uploader issue or or an intellectual property issue?

@godevillivedog

that's just my workflow, when I'm done with an image, I just save/export it at 1000px on the long side for web viewing, if you want a larger size, it can be done.

that the comments preview shows that the embeddable slideshow code works but doesn't in actual use.

oh well here it is via a clicky instead

Thanks, it didn't look all that bad overall, but if you looked at any smaller part of it the pixelated edges were kind of distracting.

My desktop is happy now.

Those long exposure nightime shots are a trip. If I ever run across an old film camera in an antique shop I'd like to try that myself.

new shot

the problem with me wanting to stroke my ego and show off my stuff is i'll post this new shot, it'll show up in the shoutbox and more than likely disappear very quickly without many people seeing it, especially if there's a sunny/monkeyenslaved heart to heart chat going on. Thats one thing I miss about LS 1, being able to follow forum/journal threads from the front page without having a billion things clipswarmed. I'd rather not annoy everyone into voting by posting a new thread just so it shows on the front page, even on the forum page.

anyway, new shot:
