I feel like this is a bad sign
Well its been about 6 months since I graduated college with an old BA in bullmeep and I havn't been able to find full time work. Despite putting out 30-40 resumes a week I havn't gotten so much as an interview. It has been pretty discouraging, but I kept at it.
Then today something terrible happened: I lost my will to drink. In the past when times got tough I would sit back with a bottle of booze and drink myself into oblivion. Somewhere in that drunken haze I would come to some kind of conclusion, come up with some kind of plan, or generally calm myself down. Then I would wake up the next day viciously hungover, but newly motivated to keep going.
Now I have lost my taste for the sauce altogether. For most people giving up drinking would be a step forward, but for me its like giving up.

Ugh, I've seen this all before.
Pretty soon you'll be spitting a bullet into the barrel of a gun.

Perhaps you should try a new substance, or experiment with trying different types of drinking. Buy yourself something nice, serve in a proper glass (chilled, if necessary). I think the extent to which you ceremonialize (this is not a word) your drinking helps keep it interesting. Having a bonfire and drinking whiskey is an old favorite. Also, properly cooking a meal, and pairing it with a couple wines makes for a fairly pleasant long transition into drinking. Not that this is news to anyone. I enjoy the experience of several hours of cooking preparation with drinking/snacking (usually just eating the raw ingredients) as it goes.
