New jobber
I went to a Tech Mixer on my first day and it was awkward. The campus has air hockey in the breakroom, real cappuccino machines everywhere and a hacky sack court. Seriously.
My first day, I showed up in stuffy business clothes and the first person I met was wearing jeans. Good to know. I'll be wearing jeans on day 2. So I go to this mixer and there's beer and food. At 2 o'clock on a Wednesday, meeping awesome. The food is good and the beer is real good. Guinness, Becks, Stella, warm cheesy spinach artichoke dip and quality cold cuts, cheese. A huge spread of eats. And the big shot AV god up on the dais with his garth brooks microphone strapped to his face is wearing shorts.
I'm the only maroon wearing high heels. No fewer than 3 people are barefoot. I decide not only to wear jeans on day 2, I won't be wearing makeup either. The SunRay flex-office setup is kinda painful and I'm waiting for my laptop so I can start my new commute from my bed to my couch.

Your session goes wherever you go. You insert your badge into the sunray and get busy. Gotta wear your badge to get in and out of hallways, breakrooms, bathroom, whatever. Pull badge - machine goes to sleep.
Go to lunch, come back to where you were this morning and someone's sitting there working? Walk around till you find another open office, insert your badge and you're back in business.
But you can reserve offices that aren't already booked so its not as random as Brownian. I reported to the Sun campus 2 weeks and had the same office every day.
