Try Axures for your bit torrent client, it is a bit of a resource hog but great outside fo that.

Sunny, don't bother with private trackers, they are a waste of time. You can download all the movie and music files you want without fear of being discovered since torrent seeds are completely anonymous.

Whatever type of tracker you decide to use, make sure that as soon as your download completes, you log off. That way you are not eating up your own bandwidth.

The reason private tracker's aren't a waste of time is they are usually seeded a lot more than public trackers, or maybe you can't get the torrent anywhere except private, eg demonoid.

Also, it's a good idea to seed, even though it kills your bandwidth a moderate amount, as it's giving back to the community a little bit, a show of good faith.

Lastly crackalackin', while the ability of the RIAA and MPAA and co to monitor torrent downloads is not in doubt, it is pretty clear they don't do it nearly as much as they used to do it on Kazaa. I suspect this is because millions of users are connected to Kazaa at any one time, whereas less than a couple thousand are connected to a torrent file at any one time. Also, they might not be able to bring a case based on bittorrenting, last time I checked it was in legal limbo.
