Weird.
I just had a really weird lunch hour. I went home and my garbage can was hung upside down over the lamp post of a house across the street. I can make sense of this only when I take into account how windy it was this morning and perhaps it had blown into the street or that person's yard and they weren't sure who it belonged to, so they put it on display for the person to collect. Okay, fine. But what I can't explain is why my recycle bin had been closed and turned upside down on the ground - as they do after they take the containers - but the containers were still in it. That's just weird. Then, I go into my apartment and find that a large dresser had grown out of the carpet of my spare bedroom. I stare at it in confusion and a little fear until I remember that my parents were going to deliver their dresser to me today because they're getting a new one. Okay, so far 2 out of 3 things on this lunch break have been explained, at least in theory. Then I go over to Subway to grab a sammich before returning to work, and find the place is empty but for one single employee behind the counter. I always get the same thing so between me directing her and her popping the food on the bread bam! bam! bam! style, I walked in and out of the establishment with a sandwich in, literally, under 1 minute. Here in Florida where things really don't move too quickly and fast food places are typically not fast due to old person customer content, the fact that I was able to obtain my lunch at that velocity is REALLY weird. I can't get past the trash receptacle circus though. Sup with that.
