I was about to say that one advantage of our lack of guns is that this doesn't happen here, Then I remembered the 18 year old honey who got shot down the road a few months ago in a fight over drugs or hookers or such. But it doesn't happen often .In 42 years that is as close to violent death as I have been and I will probably never get that close again.

Before I came out to school here, I ended up talking to a track coach from another high school. This is apporximately the exchange: Me: "Yeah I'm going to go to school just outside Philadelphia." Him: "Oh really, I worked for the mint there for 15 years or so." M: "Oh wow, so what's the verdict?" H: "Well...the only thing that city has going for it is the cheesesteak. Oh, and the Mummer's day parade, you can sit out and watch it and get drunk."

It was then that I knew that I had a lot to look forward to out here.

Yea nocal, everyone gets shot, but I'm not even allowed to carry a firearm on campus. Its pretty bad.

'The Watauga County Sheriff's Office and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations are investigating a homicide that occurred Thursday evening. Deputies were called to Crocker Road (just off Niley Cook Road) at 10:48 p.m. in reference to a white male being found on the roadside... A small, light brown or beige vehicle (possibly a Toyota) was seen in the area being driven by a white male who was clean shaven, with brown hair, and in his early 20s.-

I was living in LA during the '92 riots. It was interesting to drive on the road at rush hour and see no other cars around. Plus I could stand on the roof of my apartment building and see fires all around in the distance.

I didn't hear any gunfire, but I remember seening the coverage of a guy on th roof of some building shooting looters with a rifle. I saw a few angry afros walking around, but I didn't have any trouble.

I never felt I was in any danger, but the whole thing was spooky.

I know I was just fukin with you. And according to census information I just pulled up the town I live in has 12,661 white people that comprise 93.98% of the population. So yeah its white. I'm sure wisconsin is too. Look at all us crackahs.

actually, Madison and Milwaukee have quite a large population of blacks and hispanics, I moved here from Eugene, Oregon(here is where it get's ironic) a town that prides itself on diversity and liberalism. Less than 2% of the poulation is non-white.

Milwaukee is the most segregated in the U.S., they got some meeped up problems.

As I have said many times, Maine is one of the whitest states. We are very proud of having one of the highest domestic violence rates per population size in the nation as well as highest rate of homicides related to domestic violence. Chew on those whitie stats for a while.
