You must be able to show that: you are making an effort to enter as a visitor for no more than six months; and you intend to leave the United Kingdom on completion of your visit; and you have sufficient funds to maintain and accommodate yourself without working.

Documents required:
You should include all the documents you can to show that you capable for entry to the UK as a visitor. If you do not, your application might be refused. Like bank statements, pay slips, or some other evidence to show that you can pay for the trip and that you have enough money to support yourself and any dependants without working or getting any help from public funds.
