On my way home via the “L” I have noticed many other peeps who still have their trees glowing in their window and the stores in my hood also still have trees up. I love my little tree so I have decided to not take it down until… Valentine’s Day! My roommate is a bit skeptical, however when I get home from work every evening he has the tree lit up and the white lights in the front windows flashing!

We just chopped the fuk out of ours today. We tried to shove it out the window but it just didnt want to go...See cam phone thread for its sorry state.

The balls bangles and bells have been removed and all that remains is a huge pile of dried needles on the floor and rug.
Next year I am going to attempt to break the record and leave the Christmas tree up for 48 days.
