Ok, so I had this itch that needed to be scratched lately. I asked a few friends to itch it with me. And tonight the itch got itched. I haven't been to the RHPS in 20 years and figured "fuck lets do it".
It was shown aboard the Queen Mary and it was Homo Horror night. Coincedence? Maybe. So as we are walking thru the parking lot I was thinking " I'm going to be the creepy old guy here tonight". And someone in our group said "Look at the freaks". This guy was a virgin. I replied "dude, I think tonight we are the freaks since we didn't dress up" Anyway, man has it changed over the years, I brought my rice,toast,confetti, noise maker, newspaper and squirt gun. By the time I got thru the door I had rice,newspaper,noise maker and confetti. Bummer. But I guess hot dogs are a bitch to clean up after there mushed into the carpet. So after hearing rule #2 about 9 times the cast came out " I did mention it was Homo Horror night right?" I remember all of the words to the Time Warp, the dance moves seemed harder as I didn't indulge in any drugs this time. And the amount of people who dressed up was crazy.
But I was laughing my ass off at the shit they were yelling at the screen during the show. It used to be asshole when Brad was mentioned and slut when Janet was mentioned. Now they have whole sentences and shit. I plan on doing this again next month as it is there 20th anniversery for doing this. I think I'll dress up this time.
Anyone else still go?

It used to be shown as a midnight double feature at one of my local, old-style ( huge with a balcony ) cinemas back in the early eighties. The other feature was Pink Floyd's Wall.
So you would have all the trannies etc on one side of the theatre throwing rice and squirting water everywhere and all the stoners and bikers ( I was one of the latter ) on the other side. We had to sit through RHPS to see The Wall, but the freaks would leave after the Rocky Horror. It made for a late night, but it was worth it.
