I sitting here at my desk a liitle hungover avoiding some work and for the moment being reflextive about the many changes in my life over the past ten years or so. The things I have noticed the most changes in are as follows:
Time - the days seem to be going by much faster than when I was younger. It almost feels like there are only 4 days to a week.
Priorities - I am a lot less selfish than I used to be. It could be that I am just a broken man. I do find myself plowing through my responsibilities with little thought about it. In the past I would scheme to get out of things I didn't want to do. I guess you could say I'm takeing the high road more often.
Interests- My interests have become more diverse than ever. Different foods, music and travel. Luckily for me I am now afforded the financial ability to do different things where in the past I couldn't. I wish I had more time to read books. There are more sources of literture out there than ever before.
Individuality - I am completely comfortable with who I am at this stage in my life. In the past I was always trying to "fit in" or being different for the sake of being different. Today, Here I am, what you see is what you get, and I'm totally cool with that.
I gotta get back to work.
