Yep.
Kinda lame since journals seem to be for quitting bad habits, but actually flossing every day is a challenge, too.
Gonna see how long I keep it up.

Flossing makes my gum bleed; I have found public hairs to be less irritating.

i don't know what magic the technicians use, but flossing myself makes me spit blood like i've been mouthpunched.

If you keep flossing regularly, the blood letting should stop. I was told years ago to use unwaxed because the fibers separate better to scrap crud off. I like the stuff made of gortex.
Also, after i am done i rinse with hydrogen peroxide and warm water. Now it's about half and half, started a lot weaker. Peroxide is H2O2 - water with an extra oxygen molecule. It bubbles when it hits infection, bacteria etc. When i started that i got this sharp pain in various places in my jaw, like below the gum line. Kept at it and there's no pain anymore. And i believe it has prevented dental problems.

Flossing will definitely cause minor bloodletting at first, until your gums get used to it. After a week or so you won't notice it anymore.
Plus, it's totally worth it.
