So, I'm in Hollywood now. Today is my third day of school up here, and so far its pretty awesome. I'm taking fretboard basics, theory, ear training, technique, slap, drum/bass workshop, private lessons, etc - finally getting some somewhat formal training under mah belt. I'm still trying to get shit situated with an apartment, which should be done with by this weekend (I'm staying at a holiday inn until then). The only current computer access I have are the macs in the library :sadface:, and for some reason I can't get irc to work, though I should be getting my laptop back from repair in a few weeks.
This city is pretty crazy so far. On the way to school this morning I saw some old dude with shit all over his pants, and I don't even think he knew. Yesterday I was briefly harassed by some scientologists asking me to take a free stress test at the table covered in copies of Dianetics, and last night I got a free sticker from some dudes promoting Hot Fuzz dressed as the characters (they got a picture with me too, so they could get paid). Well, I guess that stuff isn't that crazy, but its a lot different than San Diego. At least the people there know when they shit themselves.

As I was walking to school today I figured I should start carrying my camera around and putting together little photo-journals. The only thing holding me back is that i don't want to get that shit stoeld. I'll bust it out starting tomorrow.

I wisht I had a camera when I lived in Smell-A. That woulda been awesome.

I especially love the people wearing the costumes for the kiddies in front of the Chinese Theater. They are always such horrible costumes, like Mickey Mouse on crack... dingy dirty and really really skinny.
