I had an idea
not at first, though
at first it was a thought
but seconds later
it was an idea
I thought it was a good idea
it was new and exciting
my idea would change the world
and I would be rich
I sat for a while
thinking of my idea
writing it in a notebook
and drawing it in pen
I saw my friends later
I told them I had an idea
I told them to keep it secret
and I told them my idea
they seemed confused
so I explained my idea
one friend spoke, saying
it was similar to another idea
I refuted this and told it again
they didn't get my idea
obviously
"no, see?" he said
showing the other idea
my idea was ruined
some jackass stole it
he stole my idea, and now?
now I look like a jerk
I explained this to my friends
but they laughed at this idea
then I had another thought
seconds later it was an idea
a very good idea
it was new and exciting
it would change the world
and I would be rich
I wanted to show my friends,
they would like this idea
so I demonstrated
and killed them all
they did not seem to understand
so I explained my idea
to their bodies and limbs
they said nothing and hurt my feelings
in anger, I decided to eat them
maybe then they will understand
see my idea from the inside
and apologize for being mean
they tasted like salt and vomit
which made me laugh and laugh
their red heart-paint got all over me
and streamed down my chin as I laughed
then they started to laugh
the idea of laughter created more laughter
I had done it!
I had an idea and it came to fruition
I created laughter!
my friends and I sat laughing
we laughed all through the night
and for the next three days
it was a very good idea indeed.
