Simply put. I've been here for 2 weeks now. We delivered the plane 2 days early and these guys are cumming all over the place. I've been offered a job that equals to 6800 a month US dollars. EVERYTHING here is cheaper, but I'm away from the good ol US of A. Has anyone ever made a huge jump like this? I have the option of a contract to arange airline tickets and shit. Maybe a few more options I'm sure. I'm nervous about moving this far away from family and friends, but I am excited about making new friends"and cheap whores".

If you ever will want to return to America, make sure the exchange rate stays favorable.

What it boils down to is these guys"locals" don't have the urgency that a private jet owner expects. I have this urgency. I'm just nervous about making this huge leap in jobs. I lose 7 years with Gulfstream"401k and insurance" but triple my salery. I am tempted by the fact that this is a once in a lifetime experiance. But it could be a disaster. Gamble time! Hmmmmmm. I think I need 2 weeks to think this one over. A little more difficult than joining the military it feels.

Don.t forget that HK belongs to the Commies. If you decide to stay for a year or so, the DHS may not let you back in.

i think it sound groovy. If i didnt have wife/kid/dogs and i were offered something like that i would jump on it, but i'd try to weasel more $$ or benefits (housing?) out of them.

If the company turns out to be assholes than I'm stuck here for 1 year minimum under a contract. That could turn out to be a long year. I got a dinner meeting with there boss tonight to talk over the details and what not :/
My first contract negotiations. I think I'm gonna cry

Are there any other palefaces who have done what you're considering, with the same company? Find them, buy them dinner, grill them. That has kept me out of at least one shit job which I still have occasion to thank myself for turning down every so often.

I would doubt anybody would going to track you down to the US from Hong Kong to make you fulfull the rest of a 1 year contract at $80k (less what you already worked). It wouldn't be worth it. Now, if you were making $500k and they paid you all up front, different story.
Its not exaclty a threat that anyone would serously back up.

The ONLY thing that would concern me is the tax consequenses. The HK taxes and/or the US taxes. dont take advice from this on anyone who isnt a tax professional.

As Pacino said in "Scent of a Woman:" When in doubt, fuck.
Evaluate the cost of the 3 years of 401k. See what your post-taxes salary would be if you worked in HK, and calculate the cash flow you'll have after all your expenses. Let the numbers speak for themselves.
The family factor is tougher. I've known more than one family which broke up because of the "out of sight" problem. See if one of the benefits could be flying your family to you, at a whim. Or, decide how important the family is to you, and if you could live without it -- then, Chinese pussy for miles (a joke, I hope :)
The third, and most important factor, is stability. Can these folks really deliver for years? How likely are you to be out on your ass, after becoming irrelevant back at the US and unneeded in HK?

| Sexual Asspussy | This is awesome.
This is the first pornsite I've found in years that I'd actually advertise to swarmers. When you first load it up, it looks just like every crappy scam site out there, except that it's real. It's huge, it's updated constantly, there's no spam, no popups, and no bullshit -- and it's completely free. When you sign up through that link above and respond to the confirmation email, I make a bit of loose change.
See what other swarmers have to say about it. People love this place, so I feel fine about sending you there and am confident you will enjoy boners.
