I accidentally unplugged an Avaya phone router from its UPS battery today at work. I was crawling around in this ridiculously tiny space trying to read serials for inventory. The power cords had been stretched and pulled to their limits and one popped out when my foot got too close. I realized what happened almost immediately and slammed that mother back in but we had about five minutes of downtime while everyone figured out what the fuck and re-logged into various components. I'm just glad I didn't hit the server cord and also that it was only one small row of users effected instead of 90+.
It's hilarious now but I was all "oh shit oh shit oh jesus oh god" during it.
