I went here and downloaded it to my pen drive, then unzipped it and ran it. It's pretty cool, but horribly slow. A completely uneducated guess on my part about its speed is that it's a memory issue with the machine I'm on. (512 MB MPC ClientPro)

(btw, I don't know Linux and have no idea what 99% of the icons on here do)
The VPM's network connection will auto configure and run seamlessly on any machine with a working internet connection..
Not for me it didn't. I wasn't able to navigate to any webpages until I went into the proxy controls for the Mozilla browser that's on the lab computers here and copied everything into the manual proxy config. in the FF browser.

fuking cool-beans, Sexninja. Could you explain just a little more how you copied over your proxy permissions? I wanna try this, but will prolly have to do what you did to get it to work on the office computers.

Don't get me started about linux. I've been using my Fedora Core1 partition to do an assignment for the past 2 days. Of course that means I run in root. I was writing a process manager and accidently included the line kill(-1, SIGKILL); in the program because after turning off normal break signals, the main process wasn't killing it's children.
1/2 an hour later and I had everything installed again :(

uart: Read.
Lefen: If you're using Mozilla, go to Preferences>Advanced>Proxies. If your network runs its internet connections off proxies like mine does, the numbers and ports should already be set up. Just copy the IP and port that everything runs off of, and put it in the FF browser in the VPM. If not, the FF browser should automatically work with no changes.

| Sexual Asspussy | This is awesome.
This is the first pornsite I've found in years that I'd actually advertise to swarmers. When you first load it up, it looks just like every crappy scam site out there, except that it's real. It's huge, it's updated constantly, there's no spam, no popups, and no bullshit -- and it's completely free. When you sign up through that link above and respond to the confirmation email, I make a bit of loose change.
See what other swarmers have to say about it. People love this place, so I feel fine about sending you there and am confident you will enjoy boners.
