I have called bob and goat so this thing is on!!

I, for one, am scared. But i'll cook meat, buy liquor, and provide beds. What the meep..I live a block and a half from the beach; these things happen.

Oh boy...we could do fireworks on the beach too. On dogdoo beach.

Make sure to get drunk in TJ and start talking the same meep you talk here to randoms on the street. Also, record video.

I'd like to do this as long as BG doesn't stab me in my sleep

I'm picturing a brief stop at Goat's to unload the barbecue and assign riders and drivers(depending on who gets in a fistfight first)
Then off to TJ for fireworks/hookers/crappy leather merchandise/violent mugging and/or kidnapping, etc.
Then LA overnight for some bar-hopping, tourist-trap baiting and general nonsense.
And finally back to Goat's place for a barbecue, more beer on the beach, some fireworks and to wait for the ransom call for the poor meepers we left in TJ.

Rosie won't let me do anything evil at home, so you're more than welcome, and safe to sleep here.

LA is about a five plus hour drive from here...TJ around ten. We can work up quite a feast, and if needed drag the BBQ to the local park/horseshoe pit so we have room. This sounds like it's getting bigger. I'll see about getting together a couple of guitars and a small PA set-up (gotta have live music) or at least bring along some vinyl and a turntable (CDs suck).

Any other ideas/etc, PM me...looks like I've got about a month to plan ahead at this point.

This is not my idea, but I'm easy...let's roll.

I'll look into a round trip flight but I'll need solid dates.

Also, BG, I'm unfamiliar with the area. What's the closest airport?

Word here from the inmates is that a little town in meh-he-co called Rosaritos is/was the place to be.
Mind you, some of these guys have been down a long time.

LA's a bit of a mystery to me. Ideas, however stupid are totally welcome at this point.
Personally, I'd like to stop in at the black history museum so I can point and giggle inappropriately.

@wotak SLO Airport is the closest.
Santa Maria is about 35 minutes away and Santa Barbara is about 1.25 hrs south.
LAX is about 4 hours south of MB/SLO but probably cheaper to fly into.
San Jose and SFO are 3.5 and 4 hours to the north respectively.

You could always fly into Bakersfield or Fresno and hitch a ride with @spankerchief or I. (assuming I can make it).

I vote for the Central Coast. meep, we could do a Big Sur camping extravaganza for meeps sake.

Big Sur is an epic place (epic is not misused here) and they just re-opened the road. :)

I think barbecues are allowed and I am positive trailers are allowed so I'll venture to say, YES.

You know the area so pick a spot that compact disc are allowed.

You guys obviously have no meeping idea what you're talking about. Those photos were taken on the one day of the year it wasn't cold and foggy. Enjoy the ticks, poison oak, freezing cold, freezing cold water and agressive locals.

I spent my formative years in SLO and am crazy to go. But it's 1000 miles and I'd have to steal a car or hitch and I don't know if I'm that crazy.

Also, I wouldn't go to TJ with this pack of daring doers on a bet.
