The Head Pirate schemes out another spot the Cache away one of the wonderful, enticing, dream-filled chests of Plunder & Booty.
This will NOT be easy. There will be some serious Pirate type happy stuff challenges here. You will need a brain (for clues) and a good eye (to locate) and good nerves...(you'll see)
Sure glad I'm cooking.

I'm not talking on video anymore.
Anyway, This is the Sand Spit:
Which is not where we're going because it's a real long, boring, sandy b#tch of a hike to reach.
This is the northern end of Montana De Oro.
Lots of good, firm rock:
...good surf:
...and (if you're clumsy or stupid) some REALLY interesting structures to fracture various limbs on/fall off of:

Thanks!
We found six GREAT little hiding spots that are juuuust dangerous enough to be fun, while still not constituting ACTUAL child endangerment.
I'll make the maps now on parchment with a general location on the coastline and a nice "as seen" inset so the kids can just spend the day crawling around the area until they spot the matching rock formations.
I'll post an unmarked example when I get the design finished.

Rum's so goddamned sugary that I can only have a few shots before getting sick to my stomach.
I nixed the all-rum plan and threw in some good whiskey.
-Then defeated the original purpose with more brandy and schnapps.
(shrugs) If you want something special, just name it.

It's 10am.

I'm taking shots of rum and working alternately on a cutesy little treasure chest with a heart-shaped key
-And an iron strap-on that shoots flames.
Is it bad that I see nothing odd about this?

Oh, sorry Goat. Didn't see your post 'til just now.
It goes to the other Zelda chest.
(Although the titty chest would probably be a good fit)
I don't like how delicate those little store-bought box locks are, so I'm using a couple of old locks I had left over from when I was still trying to find the right design.

you need help with potions, I have a great library of ancient recipes utilizing everything from anise to wormwood. Or you could just fill them with candy & glitter & booze. But I can picture one of those stuffed with dried peaches & brandy (monkey ears). Those would get my Mom & Aunt so meepered up.

Actually I was thinking Legend of Zelda style red and blue Skittles vodka, but meep, dried peaches in brandy sounds pretty sinister looking!
Is it just those two things or is there a recipe?

The only other ingredient is a single string of clear rock candy, and a three month cure. Apricots might work better in a jar that size. They always called them "Monkey Ears", and if that isn't a Pirate Drink, I don't know what would be. Total Panty Peelers. Better bring you's a woman.

Ah, no rush.
I've got decades of craft left in me.
I've been looking for a keyring or charm with Link's shield so that I could epoxy two of them back-to-back on the key(yes, I was gonna cheat) but it looks like despite a new zelda game coming out and the popularity of the game rising again, there aren't any around.
Looks like I'll have to send the credit card info out into the ether again...
