i'd like a checkbox filter on the xrays to revert it more to 'talking meep functionality'. comments only i guess would do it. also, wootfrittahs.

The text colors for the mouseover effect at lines 191 & 195 in /gcf/yaml/screen/content_default.1287451555.css need some adjustment so that the "Graphic Design By" piece doesn't get lost in the color shift.

text input box doesn't wrap text at the correct spot for me, resulting in every comment having a blind spot

i would also prefer that the comment link were easier to spot, but whatevs

a notification that alerts you to items awaiting votes in the queue...just discovered i liked that feature in linkswarm 1.0

i get an error message screen when i post, but i suspect that's site-wide and known

@nocal can you screenshot this blind spot? And I assume you mean the comment link on the frontpage?

it's weird, but it's not doing it now...maybe it's certain types of comments/redirects? mayhaps a test post is in order...

and yeah i meant the comments link for frontpage

maybe i spoke too soon, but the redirect issue is gone. it was some kind of "500 error" placeholder text, i think? in any case, i'll screenshot if it happens at some point.

It was me -- was testing the AQ comment meep. Once we get past the initial bump of finding these deploy bugs -- and I get my home test server back working -- you should never see a 500 error.

New request: For the "Alpha Queue" box to include a # next to it to show how full yours is or, specifically, if you have new links to approve.

I would like the old "Registered Date" under the user name in forums etc. I would also like the 'who voted and how' returned to the link comments.

Other than that, Jolly Good Show, Old Boy.

[R.I.P. UNICODE-FLAVORED MOON LANGUAGE]

Okay, I have found the voter thing. Now how do I edit posts?

And who is the last Swarmer to Join?

@dragonstaff

Edit posts via the Admin tab, available to you when viewing a thing you submitted, not available otherwise.

Not really sure how useful the 'Last Swarmer to Join' feature was. It was largely a way for spammers to get attention to their throw-away profiles. People become interesting once they post, not just for having signed up, no?

@vasudeva

So I can't change a forum post when I meep it up then.

The last swarmer feature was only useful for warning us when spam may appear, and occaisional meeps and giggles I suppose.

If it's the original post, then yes. If it's a follow-on post, not currently. If this is something that gets traction we can add it in down the road.

@ Vasudeva

I think we all need to smell someones meep on occasion. I could have done it four times in five comments in this thread alone. LOL.

So that's +1 for editing comments. I don't think it's something we'll be able to put off, I just don't have a good sense for it prioritizes vs the other meep.

We should now be getting 80% less spam in the queue, based on a completely scientific check of 6 items. Some will continue to slip in, naturally -- when it does, let me know, and I'll tune up the filters as necessary.

Things approved and things swarmed didn't switch over correctly in my homepage. Other than that I like the new look.

@ Vasudeva

Like others have mentioned, most of my clipswarm and all of my latest journals are missing in action.

Can this be recovered?

AQ needs target="_blank".

@Clavis_Apocalypticae

AQ needs target="_blank".

The problem with the old "open meep in a new window" idea is that anyone who wants this can just middle-click or alt-click, but if I've hardcoded it in there and you don't want it, you need to install a browser extension.

I periodically go through my clipswarm and delete broken links. It would be nice to continue being able to do so.

Clicking 'Swarm >> a link' is distressing Baby Hitler :(

No joke was just about to post this. Don't forget about the new fav gif thread. Also, a little confused about how forums are organized (or if they area) aka random madness, serious meep, etc. If thats gone i will miss it.

The way reverse sort threads work: if you enter them via /p1/ -- page 1 -- that's what you'll get. I chose, instead of to literally force the page sort order to reverse, to have the system generate links to the last page available on that thread, and sort that page's comments in reverse. So if the system bumps the thread in the xraybox, it should include a /p146/ token -- page 146. Make sense?

As for the quote colors, yeah, gross. Haven't found a scheme I like better yet. (Dark green? How old is your monitor?)
