This was just a suggestion, something I was hoping other people would want to do, so I could enjoy as a listener. I should note that I'm seeing a couple swarmers who are quite interested in doing this.

Wotak, I'm surprised you don't want to be a host, because I've got a feeling you would be good at it. JL, as creative as he is would also be perfect. Vas, LK and Clavis also seem like no-brainers to me. If at least 2 people sign on, I'll sign on as well.

this is my official sign on. Unless someone else wants to do it, I'll start organizing this thing later in the week.

How about we stream live text-to-speech translation of IRC meeps? Not exactly a podcast, but hilarious possibilities.

If anybody in here -- guitarjon, I'm looking at you -- can pull off recording an mp3 talking about nothing in particular and have it not suck painfully, I will be proud to bestow the title of 'Official Swarmcast' upon it. Godspeed.

I suppose one angle could be a condensation of all interesting Swarm activity that month/week, like a "Here's what you shouldn't miss" sort of thing pulling in good links and amusing meephattery.

I'll toss in a submission. Not because I think I am the man fer the job, but rather because I have a microphone.

I did some radio when I was writing Braindent.com meep and it was quite apparent that I was meeping boring and unfunny. Although, I said if a couple of people get on board, then I would definitely get involved whether it be guest hosting, laying out music beds, creating intros, writing bits, whatever. I will definitely set aside a weeknight to be involved in this project.

I dont know why listening to you meepers talk would be any better than reading the pretentious 'look at me' blurbs you vomit on screen. Though hearing your voices may give more insight as to what sort of meepwit you really are, nothing is stop anyone from reading/preparing their kumquat manifesto beforehand so all the same, it all seems equally fake. I'll probably listen anyhow.

That being said, this is what I want:

So, uh, unless there are any objections I'm just going to go ahead and do this. If anyone has any content they wish to submit, do so by sunday night. This can be a song, poem, opinion piece, review, sketch, or whatever the meep. Have an idea that can work as a recurring segment? Do that meep up too. If you're poor and need software to record with check out Audacity.

I have some meep for recording skype but I still need to test it - I'll update with infos on that.
