Is the greatest game ever meeping made. That is all.

It's the first game since DOOM 3 that I've seriously considered buying right at release. I'll probably pick it up around XMas.

I'm level 27 already. Can't stop. Haven't even touched the campaign yet. Playing on the 360.

It is very good.

Greatest game ever, however, still goes to "Bioshock," and "Uncharted 2" is amazing.

I'm level 26, and also have not touched anything yet but multiplayer. I have a 3 day weekend, so looking forward to hitting 70 before my wife throws me out.

if levels went by deaths, I would be on second prestige. Only lvl 12

^same, mainly because I haven't played that "run 'n gun but also camp at exactly the right times" style for about 2 years.

The multi also isn't terrible despite what the meeping nerds who want you to boycott it because of no dedicated servers would have you believe.

The single player campaign was insane and blew my mind a couple times, despite being far too short. On a PC btw, it's the only way to play FPSs.

played a little so far, airport massacre was surprising, and raining death from above with the uav was the meep. havent got much further than that so far, playing borderlands as well, which i'm thoroughly enjoying as well

I'm at 38 now.

I have my kill streaks set to bombing run, harrier, C-130 and I'm able to pull them off in succession just about every game if playing a map with objectives.

I've been using these perks on a sniper rifle - Bling (heartbeat monitor and thermal scope), Cold-Blooded (invisible to UAV and thermal), Ninja (invisible to heartbeat monitor). I can usually set up a sniper position this way and not be detected, but use the heartbeat monitor to zero in on targets.

Secondary weapon is the stinger missle. With cold-blooded you can't be seen by helicopters and harriers, so I can easily knock them out.

After 5 kills, I can do the first two kill streaks back to back and wait for the harrier to get me the C-130.

If not sniping, I use the Famas with an ACOG scope and carry the automatic shotgun as secondary. Perks are Bling (heartbeat monitor, ACOG), stopping power, scrambler.

I played Domination last night using the riot shield and the throwing knife and the perk which allows you to melee from twice the distance.

I was able to consistently waltz right up to the capture points taking fire from three or four guys as my team took them out. Occasionally, I'd have a stand off with one person, and when they went to reload I would stick them with the throwing knife and be able to go over to them and get it back.

I leveled a few times this way.

You mother meeper. I played about 3 hours of Domination last night (day off), and I ran into a couple of people doing the exact same thing with riot shields. When meeting face to face with someone wielding a shield down a narrow area, it's virtually impossible to flank and kill them. I was fuming.

I played one deathmatch this week with an entire clan using shields, and they kicked our meep.

EDIT: You can get throwing knives back after killing someone with it?!

Lulz. I had so much fun.

Semtex kills riot shields dead. Flashbangs will make them drop it for a few seconds. If you are nimble enough, you can get just a few degrees off center of the shield and kill a turtle with melee. The killbox window is large enough that you'll think you can't get through, but you can.

I feel remarkably left out. As a starving student I cannot afford such luxuries(monetarily or time wise). Maybe Ill get the PC version when it drops in price.

Two people, online, specific missions which range from one guy in a C-130 helping the other get to a location to a two man sniper team silently making their way to a target.

I played with a friend, and we were doing the whole, "Ok, I'll take the guy in the hat, you get the other one, on the count of three, one...two...drop 'em." It was meeping magical.

There is a cost free alternative that will allow you to play out the single player campaign. It's 11GB and will take a while, but it has Steam ripped out and comes with the patches in the same DL. It's not a fast DL though.

I PM'd Smoke about an alternative source but that meeper isn't checking him's PM's. If there is a better DL available, Smoke would probably know about it.

I used to play over LAN with my son like this in earlier COD's but this one doesn't include a LAN option. meeping meep.

I beat the first one about 4,000,000 times with my wife on split screen. I'll never sell this game. I downloaded the 360 demo and went through it all, while beating the meep out of everyone with a guitar. While the daytime map was aight, the new charging zombie character makes up for it ten-fold. Please tell me you have this on 360?

My latest addiction has been throwing knife mastery in free for alls

Once I got the M16, my kill/death ratio has improved to the point of ridiculousness.

I'm running with Bling (grenade launcher, holographic sights), Stopping Power and Commando (knife kill from twice the distance). Secondary is either the Raffica auto-pistol or the Javelin launcher. Raffica if I think I might run out of ammo, Javelin if I want to shoot down planes and choppers.

Killstreaks are 5 - Predator Missile (protip: pull trigger to speed it up), 7 - Harrier, 9 - Emergency Air Drop. I switched to the air drop because it often drops the C-130 or the Helicopter Gunner and gets me there in two less kills, plus the whole team benefits.

Another great thing about the air drop is I often save my Harrier until I get the drop and put the Harrier strike on top of a drop location in the middle of the map, which provides much lulz and kills.

Level is now 54.

I really want to party-up with Swarmers and smack meepes up.

Yes, the M16A is insanely badd-meep accurate. I've already closed the 1000 kills out on this one, along with the Scar and M4.

I have bling (full metal jacket and red dot sights), Stopping Power and Scrambler. Although, with FMJ, I seem to switch the Stopping Power off for larger maps and run with Cold-Blooded. That's how I score so many kills in a match because I'm virtually invisible.

My killstreaks are set-up as 4 (care-package) - 7 (Harrier) and 11 (Chopper Gunner). Utilizing UAV for 3 kills is a waste, since other team members take care of that for you, plus dealing with counter-UAV make it pretty useless for long periods.

Also, level 54.

Garden variety or throwing knife...? Either way I will keep mine eyes peeled and send him your love ;-) I`ve been stacking predator, harrier, and finally stealth bomber for much widespread air carnage and the occasional javelin to people hiding behind vehicles in estate.

Also, meepin' Lownotes... I need some pointers, here. I wanna start sniping, but I find that if I camp anywhere with good visibility, someone caps me, and if I keep moving, I can't hover somewhere long enough for people to cross my path. What am I doing wrong?

The best advice I can offer in MW2 is...once you shoot, move.

Every time you shoot, chances are someone either saw it or saw it on the mini-map. If you are in a nice spot, switch to your secondary gun and watch the entrances for a bit before returning to the scope. If you are in the open, move to a new location.

Most people will try to exact revenge if you snipe them. They will watch the killcam and try to find you. Move and wait.

Every map has good sniping positions, but only a handful are "safe" sniping maps.

On Afghan: Inside the airplane, in the poppy field, against the buildings near the poppy field. Don't get on the cliff.

On Derail: In the windows of either building, among the trees

On Estate: In the building with the snowmobile

On Highrise: Climb to scaffolding and jump to the crane, use the crane to get to the upper floors or the top of the crane.

On Invasion: No safe places other than the castle and the buildings to the southeast.

On Karachi: Lots of good spots on rooftops, but you'd be better off with an assault rifle with a holographic sight or an ACOG.

On Quarry: Not a good place to snipe

On Rundown: Stick to the building in the south; you can jump from rooftop to rooftop and face north.

Scrapyard: The warehouses

Rundown: The building to the northeast and the shipping containers opposite it.

Terminal: Stick to an assault rifle

Underpass: Building to the northwest and its rooftops

Wasteland: Pretty much anywhere. You can get on the roof of the barn by jumping from the wall next to it.

If you want to camp and snipe, play hardcore. Otherwise, you need to wait until you have the claymore before you can hold a spot down.
